Unschooling

I tend to have more of a structured approach to homeschooling than natural learning, it works for our family to  have that set dynamic and curricular in place. I'm not averse to child led learning, as I am aware some home educators are, just pointing out it's not for me and mine.

The subject is controversial and often trying to articulate to local school authorities what your child has learned can be problematic. Not because they aren't learning, just that what they are focusing on that month may be something completely different to what their schooled peers are.

There are many who embrace unschooling, attachment parenting, baby wearing and elimination observation, such as Blossom. For every one article in favour of natural learning or homeschooling in general there is always those who are biased against it and believe we're doing a disservice to our children.
